Matty Graham has converted his pole position to his second race win of the year in this afternoon’s (Saturday) opening BRDC F4 race of the weekend on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.

After setting an unmatched pace in the morning’s qualifying session, Matty made an excellent start and lead the field into Copse corner.

Delivering a consistent race pace, Graham headed the order from lights to flag by with a lead never dipping below 1 second.

Speaking post race Matty said, “I’m really happy. I got a good start and from there it was a case of not making any mistakes. It wasn’t as comfortable as it seemed really, I was under quite a bit of pressure and kept looking back and seeing Robertson in my mirror for the most part but I managed to stay calm and it ended well!”
