FORMULA RENAULT 2.0 NEC – ASSEN REFLECTIONS

With just over a fortnight to go until the penultimate race weekend of the 2014 Formula Renault 2.0 NEC season, Matthew looks back on his last outing at the Gamma Race Day at Assen at the start of August.

Another strong weekend saw him emerge comfortably as the fastest driver in the five strong AVF stable and also right on the pace of the leaders throughout the weekend.

And while his Championship challenge is effectively over, Matty is refusing to be downbeat and feels that he will still be able to consider 2014 a success.
