MATTY PUTS NEW F4 CAR THROUGH PACES

Ahead of the 2015 BRDC F4 Autumn Trophy, which concluded last weekend at Brands Hatch, Matty was invited by the Sean Walkinshaw Racing team to test the all new F4-016, which debuted during the November series, with the young North Eastern driver declaring himself impressed after taking to the wheel.
Running at the Snetterton circuit near Norwich and setting competitive times on a wet and windy day, Matty hailed the stability offered by the new car after his days work.
“The weather was pretty bad at the test and in those sort of conditions cars usually move about a bit but this one felt really good and gave me a huge amount of confidence in what it was going to do. Tatuus have done a really good job in building this car.”
“It was very responsive and after not sitting in a race car since April, being able to feel comfortable in it straight away shows it is a solid car with a very good base line. This is great news for anyone planning to race it as it means they’ll have more time to focus on all the set-up changes that it offers and really develop that side of their race craft.”
