BRITISH GT ROUND 1 – BRANDS HATCH

The 2016 season gets off the line this weekend as Matty lines up as part of the GT4 field in the Avon Tyres British GT championship at Brands Hatch.

It is the start of a new chapter as Matty switches from the open wheel categories in which he has raced since graduating from karts in 2013, to one of the world’s leading national sports car championships.

Ran over seven weekends, the nine round series will see a total of 33 entries from 11 different sports car manufacturers take to the track, with Graham sharing driving duties with 18 year old Jack Mitchell, at the wheel of an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 ran by Warwick based Macmillan Racing.

Having tested together over the winter, the two hour event around the Kent circuit’s 2.4 mile Grand Prix layout provides a challenge to both drivers and the team, but one that Graham is relishing.
