MATTY REFLECTS ON CONTRAST OF SILVERSTONE

Back at home in Northumberland, Matty has taken time to reflect on a weekend of contrasts at Silverstone in British GT.

It began well, with the 20 year old setting the fastest lap of the opening practice session, to underline the continued progress he and the Macmillan Racing team had made in maximising the performance of the number 42 Aston Martin Vantage.

That and a strong qualifying performance, gave way to a lowly 11^th place finish, as Matty joined a good proportion of the field in spinning in treacherous conditions, but unlike others, became beached in the gravel on the outside of Stowe corner.
