MATTY REFLECTS ON LATEST BRITISH GT OUTING
A stunning drive over two stints in the British GT Silverstone 500 saw Matty back on the podium on June 11th as he made his first appearance in the championship since practice at Rockingham back at the end of April.
Pushing from start to finish, Matty hustled In2Racing’s #29 McLaren 570S GT4 around Silverstone’s full grand prix layout in the blue riband event for British GT, to initially set up a challenge for victory, before salvaging a well deserved third place.
It was a result that built on his last race in British GT at Oulton Park, where a similarly battling performance yielded second place, making it two trophies from a possible three that Matty has brought home to the North East.
