SPA BRITISH GT HIGHLIGHTS BEGIN TV BROADCAST
Highlights from the British GT cross channel adventure to Spa-Francorchamps will begin transmission this weekend, with Matty likely to feature prominently following his outstanding performances that brought him a pair of GT4 wins.
In his first outing behind the wheel of Ebor GT’s Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4, the young driver from Stamfordham was the class of the field.
Fastest in every session he ran, the 21-year-old made full use of the performance the Italian sportscar offered.
Alongside new team-mate and fellow North Easterner Charlie Fagg, both drivers performed brilliantly as they scythed their way through the 20 car field in both races, having been forced to start from the back of the grid.
With the two charges from 20th to first delivering overtaking a plenty, there should be plenty of action for North East race fans to enjoy from two of the own in this weekend’s programmes.
The first opportunity to catch up with the British GT action from Belgium comes early on Saturday morning, as Channel 4 broadcast a short 25 minute programme from 07:05 (or 08:05 on Channel 4 +1)
For those wishing to watch the longer one hour programme, it first broadcasts via Motorsport TV (Sky channel 447, Virgin Media channel 545) on Saturday night at 21:00, before going out to subscribers of BT Sport 3 on Tuesday July 18th from 20:30.
