Eight races with three teams, across two championships and in three different makes of cars have made the 2017 motorsport season one with plenty of variety for Matty.
It has been a season that has seen the 21-year-old Northumbrian take his first race victories in GT racing and take a total of four podiums from six races started.
In his latest video above, Matty looks back at British GT’s blue riband event, the Silverstone 500.
Delivering a storming drive in arguable the performance of the day in GT4, that played no small part in the In2Racing #29 car finishing third, Matty reveals that result left him feeling not as you would expect.
Matty’s 2017 season has continued to enhance his growing reputation within sportscar racing, with a record now standing at eight podiums from 15 starts.
